Suphan Buri is one of the provinces in the central area of the west of Thailand, located on Tha Chin River basin or Suphan Buri River which flows along the length of the province from north to south.
Suphan Buri Located between the latitudes of 14 degrees 4 minutes to 15 degrees 5 minutes North and the longitude of 99 degrees 17 minutes to 100 degrees 16 minutes East with the height of the average sea level 3-10 meters. Its total area is about 5,358.01 square kilometers or approximately 3.3 million rai or 5.2% of the central area, and 107 kilometers from Bangkok (By Highway 340), and 142 Kilometers by train.

Suphan Buri Province has its neighboring provinces as follows: North: Uthai Thani and Chai Nat. East: Ang Thong and Ayutthaya. South: Nakhon Pathom and Kanchanaburi. West: Kanchanaburi and Uthai Thani.
Suphan Buriis mostly flat, there are some plateau areas with a gradient between 0-3 percent on the western part of the province. From north to south, the lowest area is on the south-east, its height is at the average sea level of about 3 meters. The north of the province is higher than the average sea level about 10 meters. Most of Suphan Buri area is used for paddy fields with rivers, canals, ponds and swamps, the Major river flowing from the north to the south is Tha Chin River or Suphan Buri River.

Southwest monsoon rains from the Indian Ocean blew through in May to mid-October resulting in the humid weather and general rains.
The winter is influenced by the northeast monsoon blowing through October until mid-February.The cold weather is generally highest at 39.3 degrees Celsius in May and lowest at 15.7 degrees Celsius in December.
